We will hold the UT GeoFluids' Annual Meeting once again at UT Austin's Pickle Research Campus in early February 2027.

  • Wednesday, February 24th, Poster Session, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Lone Star Court Hotel.
  • Thursday, February 25th, All day meeting followed by dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy in the Domain.
  • Friday, February 26th, 1/2 day meeting.

Our meeting themes include:

  • A return to the Centroid Model: fully coupled models and trap integrity 
  • Pressure and stress in the 1st km below mudline: deepwater Gulf of Mexico. 
  • Quantifying the impact of injection/depletion on the fracture gradient 
  • Permeability loss due to creep in the Permian of West Texas. 
  • Case study PPFG on the Eugene Island Shelf. 
  • New model for interpreting Shmax from borehole breakouts
  • The impact of Biot effective stress on pore pressure prediction
